Our History
The employees of WELSCH INDUSTRIAL GmbH & CO. KG today look back on decades of experience in the production of concrete roof tiles, floorboards, food and luxury goods as well as disposable hygiene articles.
In 1968, Mr. Dieter Welsch Sr. began his professional career after successfully completing engineering school. As a young design engineer, he initially developed machines for the production of wooden doors and windows. Later, the processing of plastic profiles and the production of hygiene articles were added. In the following years, since the 1980s, he increasingly dealt with the production of wood fiber boards (presses and systems).
This vocation was also passed on to his son. Mr. Dieter Welsch Jr. studied mechanical engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum and graduated as a qualified engineer. In the early 1990s, he moved to Southeast Asia on behalf of a well-known German press manufacturer, where he successively took over the management for the new construction and conversion of turnkey chipboard and MDF plants. In the late 1990s, he moved to the concrete processing industry and headed the plant construction department of a renowned German producer of concrete roof tiles.
