Auto Racker & Linear Feeder

Description
Some machines are built to work; others are built to endure. The WELSCH automatic racker belongs to the latter. Based on a 55-year engineering heritage that has powered the world's most iconic roof tile plants, this system remains the global industry's gold standard for massive, solid-steel reliability.
The industry's history was built on the single-chain racker, a brilliant invention for the 1970s, but a technical dinosaur in the context of modern high-velocity production. At WELSCH, we have taken the indestructible core principle of the paternoster and re-engineered it into a high-precision instrument. We don't just move pallets; we orchestrate their flow.
Balanced Suspension: This specialized paternoster functions as a high-capacity, single-sided vertical hoist engineered for the indexed handling of stainless steel crates. Unlike standard tray elevators, this system utilizes a synchronized dual-chain drive, where a single powered axis cycles two heavy-duty industrial chains equipped with fixed chariot-style carriers.
Millimeter Precision: Our paternoster moves the crates down level-by-level with surgical accuracy.
Eliminating the Dinosaur Vibration: The old single-chain and roller method was notorious for heavy vibrations that caused micro-cracks in green wet tiles. Our architecture provides a rock-solid, low-vibration environment that protects the integrity of your concrete from the second it enters the machine.
Our automatic racker is a massive, vertical paternoster system designed for the uncompromising environment of a high-volume concrete plant.
Solid Engineering DNA: We haven't compromised on our heavy-metal philosophy. These are robust, high-mass machines designed to manage the immense weight of concrete production with absolute structural integrity.
Synchronized Dual-Action: The automatic racker manages the heartbeat of the plant. As the charging section at the top accepts crates with dried tiles, the discharging section at the bottom delivers fully loaded crates with wet tiles to the exit roller conveyors.
Speed Without Stability Is Useless: By developing the 1st generation heritage into our 2nd generation design, we have achieved the industry's highest production speeds while increasing the quality of the tile.
While the automatic racker provides the power, our WELSCH linear feeder provides the surgical brain. We understand that the most critical moment in the entire plant occurs when wet tiles make contact with dry tiles to initiate the exchange. In this high-stakes millisecond, near enough is not an option. Our linear feeder ensures a precision-timed, velvet-smooth transition that protects the integrity of every single tile, even at 150 TPM.
Controlled Acceleration & Braking: Using high-torque electric motors and high-resolution encoders, we carefully manage the velocity curves. We accelerate the green tiles gently to avoid internal structural stress and slow them down with surgical softness.
The Contact Phase: Our system recognizes that wet concrete is a living material. We control the forward movement to ensure the wet tiles meet the dry tiles with exactly the right kinetic energy, enough to displace the dry row, but soft enough to prevent micro-cracks or edge deformation.
We have replaced old mechanical linkages with a high-performance tooth-belt drive and an advanced network of sensors. We have taken the unbreakable solid framework of heritage design and equipped it with state-of-the-art technology, providing a level of repeatability and tile safety that the original engineers could only dream of.
A millisecond of late braking is the difference between a perfect tile and a micro-crack. We have replaced the mechanical shove of the 1970s with dynamic kinetic management. The WELSCH linear feeder handles your wet tiles with the delicacy of a surgical instrument. By precisely controlling the deceleration curve, we ensure perfect contact, perfect exchange, and perfect final positioning, every single cycle.
