High-Compression Rollers & Side Discs

Description
The extrusion process is a relentless battle against physics. To produce a tile that is impermeable to water and structurally indestructible, the concrete must be charged into the mold with massive, controlled force. Our high-compression main rollers and side-trimming waterchannel discs are the engine of this compaction, engineered to create a high-density foundation that standard serial machines simply cannot replicate.
Our main rollers are not merely feeders; they are precision-balanced compaction tools designed to eliminate internal voids and ensure absolute material homogeneity before the ribbon even reaches the mouthpiece. Designed with optimized surface geometries, our rollers create a high-pressure compaction wedge that eliminates internal air pockets and ensures a uniform material flow across the entire width of the pallet. Every roller is dynamically balanced to ensure smooth rotation even at 150+ TPM, protecting the bearings and ensuring the green concrete remains undisturbed as it transitions to the slipper.
The interlock is the most vulnerable part of a roof tile. While standard machines often suffer from edge starvation, our side rollers ensure the waterchannel is the strongest part of the tile. These discs provide independent, high-pressure compression specifically for the interlock zones, creating a razor-sharp profile that is resistant to breakage during handling and installation. By matching the peripheral speed of the ribbon, our side discs prevent the tearing of the concrete edges, a common flaw in lower-tier machinery.
We offer rollers in through-hardened high-chrome tool steels and tungsten carbide inserts for extreme-wear zones. Depending on your specific mix, we provide tungsten carbide spraying or plasma nitriding to reduce the coefficient of friction and prevent sticking, ensuring a mirror-smooth charge into the finishing stage.
