Description

The transition from the curing pallet to the packaging line is the moment of truth for tile quality. At WELSCH, we have engineered two distinct demolding platforms to meet the diverse needs of modern high-volume plants: the high-speed specialist for main tile production and the universal master for complex fitting profiles.

While the industry often uses the generic term depalleting, we recognize that true performance lies in the demolding process, the high-velocity mechanical separation of the cured tile from its aluminum mold. It is here that precision determines whether a tile enters the market as a premium product or exits the line as waste.

Absolute Rigidity:
Built on a massive, solid framework with heavy-duty fixed brackets. It is engineered to withstand the relentless speed-150 cadence without vibration, protecting the integrity of your pallets.
The Tuner Advantage:
Equipped with our signature chrome-steel demolding knives and Vulkollan® 92 SH-A tracking tires. This is the industrial workhorse designed for maximum throughput and best pallet protection.
Articulated Versatility:
Featuring our signature movable arms and custom-tuned conveyor logic. Whether you are running verges, ridges, or half-tiles, our universal machine adapts to the geometry of your molds.
Rapid Setup:
Designed by our engineering team to minimize downtime. Our universal machine allows for manual calibration between complex profiles, ensuring even your lowest-volume tiles are automated with surgical precision.

At WELSCH, we recognize that demolding is the most critical transition on the dry side. It is not merely a separation; it is a high-velocity mechanical handoff. We have engineered our main tile and universal platforms to manage this transition with the surgical precision that only a specialized engineering house can provide.

The Rigid Demolding Head:
Built for absolute mechanical stability in high-speed lines with zero-tolerance pallets. It provides a fixed, unyielding reference point for the 15° radiused knife.
The Spring-Loaded Demolding Head:
Featuring an adjustable pressure spring, this head provides adaptive flexibility. It allows the machine to breathe with the line, compensating for minute variations in tile shrinkage or pallet positioning to ensure a constant, gentle lateral force.

The WELSCH difference lies in our proprietary transport logic. We don't rely on generic friction; we use engineered propulsion. Custom Carrier Systems: Our machines utilize specialized chain conveyors equipped with precision-machined pawls or pushing fingers. These carriers are designed to touch only a defined section of the pallet underside to ensure a positive, non-slip propulsion that pushes the demolded tiles forward with perfect synchronization, protecting the visible surfaces of the tile and the mold.

Once the soft-lift is complete and the tile is handed over to the round-belt conveyor, the pallet begins its return journey instantly. Gravity-Assisted Transition: The pallets fall-down via a controlled transition onto a specialized underneath down-hill belt conveyor. The Closed Loop: This multi-level architecture saves floor space and ensures that the empty molds are moved rapidly back toward the cleaning station and the oiling fortress, resetting the cycle for the next run.

We deeply understand the complex physics of the bond between concrete and aluminum. Whether you utilize our high-speed specialist or our universal platform, we provide the optimized kinetic leverage required to ensure a perfect separation, every single cycle. We don't just clear the pallet; we protect the product.
