Synchronous Chain Circulating Machine
Description
A double-end tenoner is a high-performance woodworking machine used to mill tongue and groove joints into the longitudinal and transverse edges of floorboards and, if necessary, to finish them. Such a machine consists of two opposing, parallel machine sides mounted on a machine bed. One of the two sides is movable, allowing the machine to be quickly and precisely adjusted to different board widths.
WELSCH INDUSTRIAL develops and builds precisely these kinds of machines, but only the feed units themselves, and only longitudinal processing machines. We do not build transverse machines, nor are we a manufacturer of equipment for milling, chamfering, edge sealing, and drying. Our machines are used whenever extremely high precision is required for the continuous feeding of planks.
Our propulsion machines consist of an extremely robust and torsionally rigid frame, a fixed side and a movable side with multifunctional width and height adjustment, a rolling block-link chain system including all guide elements, a spring-mounted top pressure system, and a machine control system including sensors and safety technology. They operate at speeds of up to 120 meters per minute. The heart of every machine is the chain feed with two chains that circulate completely synchronously – that's why we call our machines synchronous chain circulation machines.
