Rolling Block Link Chains

Sawing and milling of grooves and tongues must be performed with an accuracy of a fraction of a millimeter in the various processing machines to ensure a seamless and stable connection when laying the flooring. To maintain tight tolerances at high speeds, the feed units in the saws and double-end tenoners are equipped with rolling block link chains. These highly specialized chains transport the workpieces and simultaneously ensure their absolutely smooth and jerk-free feed.

Since 2008, WELSCH INDUSTRIAL has been developing and manufacturing rolling block link chains for laminate flooring production. Each chain link consists of a solid base body, a hardened chain pin, two rollers, a needle bearing, a lower guide roller, and various small parts. All components are precision parts. They are manufactured from high-quality materials, produced under extremely strict specifications, fitted with high-quality bearings and rollers from INA, SKF, and JESA, and assembled using specially developed tools and fixtures.
