Chain Plates

Whenever extremely high product quality and high production speed are paramount in flooring production, it is advantageous to equip the feed mechanisms of saws and profilers with rolling block link chains and high-performance chain plates bolted onto them. The chain plates support and guide the coated wood fiber panels and laminate planks, while simultaneously preventing wood dust, glue residue, and other particles from entering the high-precision joints and rollers of the block link chains.

Primarily, the chain plates have a function comparable to that of a car tire. The workpieces have different surfaces and are transported at product-specific speeds and pressures. Here, the choice of the product-contacting support is crucial. The supports must generate the highest possible static friction on the workpieces, be manufactured with extreme precision, and be extremely wear-resistant.
